Want to install I-beam blinds yourself but do not know where to start? Do not worry. This detailed installation guide will help you complete the job with ease.

01 Installation Steps

1. Measure the Dimensions

Measure the top and bottom widths of the window separately. If they differ, make the blind to the smaller clear dimension to prevent jamming and light leakage. Measure the clear vertical height of the window frame and record both dimensions.

2. Secure the Mounting Clips

Align the clips with the edge of the window frame and fasten them securely and horizontally, ensuring symmetry on both sides.

3. Thread the Steel Cables

Insert the steel cables into their corresponding slots on each side without crossing or misalignment. Leave a 2–3 mm gap above the horizontal windowsill line to ensure smooth movement without friction or jamming.

4. Level the Blind and Remove Wrinkles

After installation, pull the blind to test it:

Wrinkles on the right → loosen the left steel cable

Wrinkles on the left → loosen the right steel cable

Fine-tune until the fabric is flat and movement is smooth.
