On April 22, 2025, the 4th China Civil Aviation Technology, Equipment, and Services Exhibition grandly opened at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. During the exhibition's promotional event, Deng Jiamin, the Technical Director of Farquan, delivered a keynote speech, providing an in-depth explanation of this innovative achievement that contributes to the construction of a strong civil aviation nation.

Deng Jiamin, the Technical Director of Shanghai Farquan Industrial Co., Ltd., is a "cross-disciplinary innovator" who has delved deep into the industrial field for nearly two decades. His professional journey has spanned from chemical safety to new energy, and then to intelligent sunshades.

2006-2014: Rooted in the chemical industry, focusing on the design and manufacturing of "positive pressure explosion-proof instrument enclosures".

From 2014 to 2019: Transitioned into lithium battery manufacturing and experimentation, experiencing firsthand the wave of new energy technologies, which laid the groundwork for subsequent research and development of intelligent control systems.

From 2019 to the present: Joined Farquan Industrial Co., Ltd., initiating a dual-wheel drive model of "intelligence + standardization" and becoming a "key driver" of technological upgrading in the industry.

Led the drafting of the Shanghai corporate standards "Sunshade Curtains" and "Light-blocking Curtains", filling a gap in local standards;

Currently participating in the formulation of the national standard "Marine Intelligent Control Cabin Sunshade Curtains", driving the standardized development of the industry.

2️⃣ Technical Pioneer

Developed an intelligent control system for electric curtains, integrating functions such as environmental perception, automated decision-making, and remote monitoring, to achieve dynamic management of the "light environment."

3️⃣ Project Practitioner

Led over 80 airport control tower sunshade projects domestically and internationally, spanning from Harbin Taiping International Airport to Guilin Liangjiang International Airport, and expanded into sectors such as cruise ships and shipyards, providing customized solutions for cruise ships like the CMSK Idun and the Haimen Polar Cruise Ship.

The intelligent sunshade curtains for airport control towers, an innovative product that integrates modular customization and advanced intelligence, not only redefine light and shadow management in the control tower work environment but also create an efficient, comfortable, and safe workspace for air traffic controllers through interactive design with scenario visualization, high-security light environment control with multiple strategies, and intelligent synergy among multiple lighting systems.

Five Key Highlights

Modular Customization: Supports on-demand configuration and flexible adaptation to different control tower structures and spatial requirements, enabling tailored, "bespoke" personalized solutions.

High-end intelligence: Environmental sensors are used to collect data such as temperature and ultraviolet rays, which are then converted into digital quantities by the AD module and transmitted to the control center. Through calculation, automatic control is achieved, enabling unattended operation and improving efficiency. 

Scenario Visualization: Through the HMI (Human-Machine Interface), password-protected login is implemented to ensure dedicated personnel management, prevent unauthorized or accidental operations, and enable one-click control to enhance efficiency.

Multi-strategy High Safety: To enhance the safety of system operation, this system optimizes failure safety factors from three aspects: control methods, power supply, and motors.

Extensive Synergy Across Multiple Systems: Through the integration of new-generation information and communication technologies, it can be deeply integrated with other systems of civil aviation air traffic control, enabling digital processing, intelligent response, and smart support for the safety, operation, and service requirements of the air traffic control system.
