Hohhot Shengle International Airport is a key project planned by the National Civil Aviation and Autonomous Region during the "13th Five-Year Plan" and "14th Five-Year Plan" with a total investment of 23.11 billion yuan. It is positioned as a 4F-level international airport, a regional aviation hub, and the main hub of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei airport cluster. It is one of the alternate airports, a first-class aviation port airport, and an important transportation node of the national “One Belt, One Road” initiative.

It is planned to complete the earthwork construction in the pavement area by the end of June this year, and strive to achieve the navigation goal in October 2025.

Shaanxi Fugu Civil Airport is one of the 23 new airports built nationwide in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of China's civil aviation. It is the first county-level civil 4C regional airport built in our province since the founding of New China. It can meet the needs of B737, A320, etc. Series models take off and land.

The project is located in Sangyuanliang Village in the northwest of Fugu County, 9 kilometers away from the county center in a straight line.
